“Ciaspolate” in Val di Sole, a different way to live the winter holiday

Don’t you know what “Ciaspolate” is? Try them in Val di Sole! They are not typical dishes; they are excursions with “Ciaspole”, snow rackets that are arranged under your trekking shoes and allow you to walk on the snow without sinking too much.

Walking around the silent woods following animal tracks and stopping occasionally to sip hot tea: that’s “Ciaspole”! During winter time we organize these excursions weekly at our hotel in Folgarida. We will give you the necessary equipment, you won’t have to think about anything other than walking and following our guide.

These excursions are also organized by the consortium in the whole area Val di Sole, so you will have a wide choice. If you want to try them by yourself, “Ciaspole” in Val Di Sole, you can count on Mario Taller’s advices and you will be able to rent the equipment at our hotel.

We strongly suggest a visit to Mart di Rovereto or Contemporary Art Museum, and Trento Muse or Science Museum!
